About
Hey! That’s me, Kelsie.
Just a friendly complexity clearer, system wranglin', product chaos fighter & brainstorming goblin. Oh, and Sr. UX Designer.
As a Product Designer, Design Systems whisperer, and occasional chaos tamer—I turn confusing flows into smooth experiences, build systems that actually get used, and help teams ship faster without losing their minds. Basically, I make products that don’t suck—and I have a blast doing it.

QUIRKY FACTS
I thrive on chaos.
I thrive on chaos.
I thrive on chaos.
I like my socks mismatched, my plants talkative, and my coffee dangerously close to judgmental (at a crisp 132ºF). I’m the kind of person who displays tiny spice jars that look like victorian houses in her kitchen, organize my closet in color order—from heaviest to lightest clothing, of course—and have strong opinions about honey bee defense mechanisms that you should absolutely be talking about.

🌵 That Wild Plant Lady
I am indeed that one woman who owns an obscene amount of plants (167 & counting, thank you). But nothing compares to feeding my family from July - November from my 500 sq ft garden.
🔮 A Truth in the Stars
Yes, I believe in the powers of nature and stars, symbolism, alignment of planets and cosmic dust. At one point in time we all were just cosmic dust from a supernova. Think about it.
🧪 Budding Apothecary
The past 2 years I've enjoyed experimenting with what's growing around me. Tinctures, extracts, canning, and more. I love the science to whipping up homemade & organic remedies.
🌋 Volcanic What Now?
After moving to the Pacific Northwest, found out that if the Cascadia Fault Line released in the Pacific Ocean, it would cause a volcanic eruption of Mt. Hood and send a tsunami into Portland Oregon, where we lived. Talk about a rude awakening.
🦋 Terrified of Butterflies
Yes, I know. They're good for the environment, but if one gets stuck in my hair it's game over. I shall admire from afar.
🍩 Donut Afficionado
I truly fell in love with BlueStar Donuts in Portland, Ore. when I lived there. Passionfruit Spicy Coco Nib all day! They now delivery to my door!
🚚 That's Too Many Moves
Between the years 2014 & 2020, I made 7 cross country moves in 7 years—spanning west to east coast, north to south. I've lived in all 4 corners of the US. I'm tired.
