The Solution.
The 2019 Playoffs Hub utilizes and API feed for the news and media content - feeding directly from an NBA JSON sheet, automated to update live content into the feed. Each post or media type is tagged with a unique identifier when posted to connect the live content directly to the API and Playoffs. The Hub also features a Game Info slider utilizing Slick Slider to show the entire series.
My Role.
I was responsible for the building and testing the playoff hub, with the oversight of the Director of Digital Innovations. This included several iterations of the design overall, and an exploration of options for a live gameday bar that would updated based on the date, time, game status and would also link to a game recap post-game.
